RE: [DL] Becoming Harrowed (potential spoilers)

That's what I was thinking initially.
Right now, I have two Harrowed in my posse. One is aware of his situation,
the other found out last Friday.
Both don't have any benefits from their special condition right now, but I
was flipping through The Book of the Dead again to see what they might gain
over time - and then I found the Hindrance section (again).

Before those two, I only had one Harrowed character and the player started
already Harrowed. We didn't have the Book of the Dead yet, so we just came
up with some things.

I just don't know how to work the Hindrances in for "in-game" Harrowed.

("You're riding in town, when all of a sudden a finger falls off! Yep, you
just got Degeneration at -5! Congrats! Roll D10 to see which finger...")

Hmmm... maybe the first powers manifest only with gaining the Hindrances as
well? That would stress the point that it's not all merry-laughter, when
you're walking around dead...
