No, it don't stat Stone. I knew that. That was not my point either, and neither
did I said that the author statted him, nor did I say anything against the book
in which the rough stats was detailed (which I guess is about the same as the
one given in marshalls handbook). My point was that the system stat just about
eveything you can stat, so a marshal has little choice but to stat him if the
posse want to have a go at him. Who can blame them.. their so powerfull at
level 16 few people (and things) can touch them. Few players would be happy
with just being killed off without a fight when the system they use don't allow
for that to happen. Following the system, they know that each person has a
certain ammount of hit points, that the maximum AC one can possibly have is
this and that, and thus be able to calculate just how much firepower they will
need to take down someone no matter how good they are (hey, we shot him for
1000 points of damage, he should be dead unless your cheating!). Killing a high
level character following the d20 system is unrealistically hard, so I'm not
suprised at all that Stone didn't manage to kill them being the level they
where. When it's one against 8 at roughly the same level, it should be possible
to take down just about anyone who's following the normal rules. The d20 system
as I know it don't allow for people to be above the rules (many other systems
are more flexible there), they limit the GM as much as the player. In fear of
something being to powerfull, they stat everything to avoid abuse by players.
This is btw my *personal* experience with how I percive the d20 system to be,
some people might have a different view on it, fine, it's a subjective thing.

Sometimes.. just take a comment for comment and leave it at that.
