Sorry I'm coming at this a little late but can you give us a quick rundown 
on the following:

1) Type of Guardian Spirit:
2) I assume he has Arcane Background (Shaman).  What limitations does he 
have on his activities as a shaman?
3) Any other applicable info on his character.
