Re: [DL] A small mail on shamans and such.

Thanks for all your input.. it's been most helpfull :)

Now for a small reply.

I have it, read it a while back and are keeping the idea in the back of my
head. The only problem is that he usually leaves no witnesses when he's
used his powers. But one day he will, and I have patience ;)

As for filling up the guardian spirit, as a few people pointed out might be
a problem, the "tobacco" ritual is very unbalancing. 15 minutes, an easy
spirit roll and 1 point filled. Rinse and repeat 5 times, and a little more
then an hour of smoking later the guardian spirit is full. And to make
matters worse, the points count double when used for the associated
medicine. His guardian spirit is the Owl, which means he can use all the
nasty ghost medicine favors for "half price".. and that's bad news for
anyone he doesn't like.

I'll keep that in mind ;)

hehe..

They are actually heading there looking for a certain stone. I had almost
forgot about that nasty little sideeffect.. that's gonna be fun fun fun ;)

Allan Seyberth:
You pointed out a quite a few things about the oath that follows a guardian
spirit. But the owl has a pretty easy one, kill an enemy each month. That's
not usually a problem, as he's the most brutal SOB around. It's also hard
to do something out of, as it don't really have an roleplaying aspect to
it. I could of course define enemy harsh, but that wouldn't make much
difference.

I've considered killing off his guardian spirit, and he's actually had
Hellstromme (through his contacts of course) threaten to kill it if he
don't do as he's told and return the stone. They messed up the first part
of the Devil's Tower Trilogy pretty bad, and Hellstromme isn't happy about it.

Thanks for all the feedback btw :)
I'm starting to like it here.
