Re: [DL] Food at the game [was: The dead of Deadlands? [OT]]

Everyone brings their own food to my games, but I cook dinner for them on
occasion. They have always shown proper appreciation, probably due to the
glare I get when they don't. : ) That and the fact that I am the Marshall,
so intimidation is easy. : )

Generally, however, we order out for big meals and everyone brings their own
snacks. I sell candy bars for Relay for Life, it's amazing how fast a group
of 18-23 year old guys go through a bag of candy. I have had to restock
three times. All I do is put them on the table and smile. I have people
running up a tab to get more. : )

Clean up has never been a problem, probably because all my gaming friends
are aware that gaming at my house is a privalage and irritating my wife will
lose that privilage very quickly. She just has to arch her eyebrows at
someone and they suddenly remember how to use a garbage can.

I only ever had one player complain when I didn't cook for him. My evil
grin should have warned him, but the next session he willingly ate what I
prepared. Well, he ate one bite of it. Amazing what a half dozen puried
jalopanio peppers will do to a dish. He never complained again. ; )
