Much like our food situation.  You clean up after yourself.  If you
can't, or won't, you don't come back.

It's all about respect.  My fellow gamers respect the place they're
gaming at - whether it's someone's house, or even back when we played at
ICE - and in return things stay clean, your food goes untouched unless
you offer it up, etc.  People who don't respect each other aren't
welcome.

My house gets messier during a night of watching DVDs, but that's mostly
due to leftover beer bottles. :)
