It all depends on what the figure is made of, there
are a hundred types of glue and epoxy for different substances. A nice thick gel
superglue will do the same as an epoxy and fill in the cracks, use and
accelerator as well to help the glue set fast.
The next best option is a good two part
epoxy clay. You can buy a inexpensive version of this at a plumbing store or a
more pricey version such as Kneadtite also called Blue Stuff at a hobby store.
Games Workshop sells Blue and Green stuff at their stores and sites and it is
what I use for modeling.
