In Hell on Earth there are two different Edges

Veteran of the Wasted West - which gives you 15 points.  This is Identical 
to the Veteran of the Wierd West in Deadlands

The other is

Verteran of the Wierd West(which is in the Waster West Source Book) - Which 
means you've been around 200+ years in the Deadlands Universe(through many 
different means, up to the G.M.s discretion).  You get 25 points.  But the 
Table you draw on is so much worse, it ain't even funny.

Hope that clears some stuff up

and for the Record I believe the max a human can have is a D12 in any stat.  
Scrappers, HArrowed and other supernatual things are of course a different 
story.
