Re: [DL] Lone Stars first impressions (vamoosin')
i think you're saying the same thing i am.. but just don't know it..
i consider mein to be charisma and ego.. you have to have a strong ego to be
charismatic, and people who are charasmatic have strong egos.. i use the
term 'ego' as the idea of self, as a positive thing, not just the negative
conatations. of having a 'big ego'.
if you have the, 'go ahead i can take it' attitude, as well as body that
can.. you won't feel it.. picture if u will, odd job in the old james bond
movie.. goldfinger?. or 'jaws' [the guy with the steal teeth], out of a
later bond film.
if you can ever see the travling chinese monks, i suggest it.. they perform
numerous seamingly impossible, physical feats; ie movig sevaral hunderd
pound boulders with rope tied to a very, senitive part of there anatomy..
also the boards breaking over their arms, legs et c.
also i belive there was a traveling christian group, 'that used the power of
god'; [their words not mine, i'm not looking to start a flame war], to bend
steal and crush bricks.. i even think there were on a tv show.. possibly
chuck norris' 'walker, texas ranger'.. [hmm how fitting].
to roll with a punch, i feel you'd have to be able to mentally make you self
not cringe, and physically be able to 'suck it up'.

No, remember that Mien is nothing but, essentially, your Charisma. If you're
ready to roll with the punch (i.e., take it in the way that hiurts the
least), then it would help, thereby adding to your Vigor roll to avoid Wind
loss.
