Well I did think it ranked more than a "could do better" :-) To be
honest any improvement on ok would have required some new data - so you
can blame only getting an ok on the space restrictions. However I do
agree that what is included in the book is required as a ground level
before any new stuff could be added, although I was amazed at how many
hexes you could have that were directly relevant to a gun!
I did wonder if the fact that all the hexes directly referenced the gun
rather than the person was a decision that had been made concerning
Shootists - however it seems from your response that it is the base
foundations for possible future additions.

Loaded for Bear (replaced by Magnum Force)
Knife Through Butter (replaced by Ghost Bullets)
Double Trouble (replaced by Switch Action)
all originally referenced the Cognition trait and have switched to
Knowledge instead. I wasn't too fussed about it - however I just
noticed that it had been removed and I wondered if there was an
underlying reason.
I'm going to cut and paste a bit of Steven Walmsley's post as it is on
the same topic

Actually this is something that piqued my curiosity as well, as
recently Mr McGlothlin has stated that he has plans for another AB -
and I was wondering if this would again be a revision - or if it would
be something that was all new?
Similar to my concern relating to dual statted books, I was concerned
with the Epitaphs trying to fit in too much material concerning too
many game backgrounds - however if the Epitaph is to be used to develop
AB's and other similar sized works then I think I could be persuaded.
Cheers
Roy
