[DL] Crucible questions - no spoilers here

Since quite a few marshals here seemed to like that adventure I thought about giving it a shot too. But my posse has a definetly southern point of view (heck, we even have a texas ranger and a war hero) who would probably kill any Union soldier on sight.
So I'll work a little bit on it to fit it to a posse from the South. Has anybody already done this? Maybe he/she could give me a few tipps what might work.
