Re: [DL] Re: deadlands-digest.20020510-3

this sounds right.  especially the greenie syker part.  it's sorta funny that junkers are one of the only ones that can "multi-class", but from what i've seen, you could, theoretically, have a junker-doomie-companion-anti-templar(is that even an AB?)-huckster-greenie syker, but half his stuff'd be useless since he's gotta put those d4s and d6s somewhere...

The official way that HoE phrases it is that no character can have two Arcanes, but there are a number of exceptions.
-Junkers are an outgrowth of Mad Scientists and Hucksters, so one can be a junker and a huckster (let's not spoil it by explaining on the DL list why you can't be a Mad Scientist as well).
-It's theoretically possible to be a junker and a Templar, but the book says that no one's done it yet.
-Ditto for junkers and Doomsayers.
-Sykers can learn Chi powers with their Background and training, but aren't the same as Enlightened fu artists.
-Greenie sykers can be combined with anything (which is a bit of a game-breaker if you ask me).

I think those are all the exceptions in the game.  I could be wrong.
