This came up in my game last weekend, actually - my posse had captured a
wanted Maze pirate, who's an ex-Confederate-raider, and (to cut a long
story short) scared the pants off him and he agreed to help them with
something in exchange for being turned free before getting to Shan Fan,
where Long-Haired Tony was waiting with a rope with his name on it.
Anyway, the posse got what they wanted, and decided that it'd be a lot
easier to just turn him in and get their reward than have him roaming the
West knowing what they know, so they said sorry, we're double-crossing you,
and he replied in bad Western language.
This brought me to realise how little of that I know. How about making a
collection of Western swearing?
They were low-down, two-bit, cotton-pickin' horn-swogglin' goldurned sons o'
bitches or varmints - is there anything else to add to that list? I mean,
of course there is.
