That's actually a really good question. One option is
that they manage to boot the manitou back to the
Hunting Grounds and they finally get some eternal
rest. Then again, look at somebody like Stone. He's
got his manitou cowering in a corner whimpering like
some little mamma's boy. 

Another option is that they have the manitou so
bullied into doing what they want, the manitou may not
even want to contest Dominion at all. If a manitou
gets control of the Harrowed if it gets total
Dominion, wouldn't it work the other way around?
Wouldn't the Harrowed be able to bully the manitou
(who's stuck in the body, of course) into what they
want done (ie all those nifty powers).
