[DL] Question

Hi.

I just recently bought Deadlands, and I have been selected GM. I have played 
some other rpgs while the rest of the group has not. And thus I have a 
question (probably more later)

How much damage can a player take. I know wind, but how much wound does a 
player have. When weapons does 3d6 and 4d6 damage, wouldnęt they die after 
one good shot. My best player has 20 wind?
