Hey Jesse, welcome to the list,

As soemone who works in the retail (and consumer) end
of the Deadlands landscape (I work in a gaming store)
I know that i will not stop pushing this game on any
customers (new or old who come in). 

I know my brother and sister-in-law (who work in the
distribution stage of the Deadlands landscape) do the
same.

As far as I can tell, Deadlands is here to stay. And,
god forbid, if it IS going the way of Chill, West
End's Star Wars, and several other fine RPGs ... then
I can assure you that it will not go quietly into the
night. At least, not on this front.

Teaching the good gamers that there's more than just
WW and WoC,
