Ignorance is not an excuse! Its just fun!
Deadlands will be going strong as long as it has people like youreself
willing to shell out money for a sourcebook.
The company looks secure as it has branched out and not relied heavily on
it's main product for its entire line. I can think of at least one other
company that did so and failed *cough*TSR*cough* Several other games are
being put out by pinnicle so the company looks solvent as far as a layman
can see.
New product are always on the horizon. The list of upcomming books on the
website www.deadlands.com is a clear indication that the company has plans
for not only this year but next year as well.
The current storyline begs for additions and completeion plus they have yet
to touch the rest of the world like they've been promiseing for years.
so all in all I think deadlands will hold up as one of the top RPGs of all
time. maybe when they get their own movie it will all become clear.
