If I may ask, why would you hate to renew your relationship with
DragonCon? It's one of my favorite cons. >>
Nothing against DragonCon, per se..... was one of the firstto attend that con
so many eons ago (anybody esle remember it at the Castlegate? heh heh heh),
I just hated that it got SO big that it spread out to multiple hotels over
quite a bit of walking distance....quite a bit in regards to walking in
downtown Atlanta in the middle of the night if you happen to be at ONE of the
event hotels for something and require that you go to another...like say if
you're staying at that second hotel. Don't get me wrong.... I LOVED
DragonCon...nothing but great things to say about it. Just DID happen to
live through that senario one year and while I'm not exactly a little guy
(heck I'm 6'4 and weigh 240 lbs!), that doesn't stop large groups of people
from harassing you (the firearm did however....but that's neither here nor
there.). NOw, as this is pretty OT, I'm not really going to continue, and I
apologize for going this long, but that's why I said what I did in the
eariler post. To repeat...I think DragonCon is the best convention still in
existence. As a Chattanooga resident, I really miss going, but I also hate
having to plan my Con schedule around the time of day and the city's crime
rates. Ahem Ok I'm done
