Also remember that all of the book tell their story from a different
perspective. Yes, the world does hang in the balance - to the Bargainers
and in what they believe. Does DP or the Covenant share their picture of
the 'truth of reality'? No way. The Covenant's view will be larger scale
than DP's, and reflect more good vs evil, but it will probably not be the
same as the Bargainers'.
Perspective is a wonderful thing.
