Uh, both, really you should read the Defiants book as it will answer that
question and much more. Such as "both", the Defiants are not a single group
and are really a few groups working toward the same basic goal, equal rights
to freedom in America. Now the major difference is that they go about this
is very different ways, extremely different ways, see the book for the
details.
