Well the specific example was the group running away and the bomber
getting shot.
But you are right in that he cannot just "go-off" willie-nillie. Like I
said, he's more of a one-shot big-bang kinda guy. Either he doesn't use
his powers, or he charges ahead while everyone else hangs back and blows
the crap out of a bunch of enemies.
I have a question:
I was thinking that the bomber would be a good PP to take on a Goliath.
But even with shaped charge his odds of doing serious damage to a Goliath
is low (3d6+3) x5 -> 40 to 45 pts. of damage on average... so that's 35
pts. of damage after the Goliath's armor.
This gives 5 wounds... so it would take both arms to knockout a Goliath.
Does that seem reasonable, or do you think maybe the bomber (or just the
shpaed charge) should get some kind of AP?
