RE: [BNW] Suicide Squad (was Bomber, cool or stupid?)

It was a very cool series for a long time. It really added some depth to a
lot of the "second string" villians in the DCU, and was a convient way for
DC to "clean out the gene pool" of lame bad guys without having a
Scourge-type to do it. I'll never forget Captain Cold facing off against the
Jihad saying "Hate is cold. Hell is cold. And I am CAPTAIN COLD" and wasting
the guy. Then there is the Batman issue. "Or haven't you noticed that you
pull your shots around me, Deadshot." "Ms. Waller, do you know how many
sealed drums I've escaped from?" Great book up until they went to
Apocalypse(sp), then I lost interest. Didn't Dixon write it in the begining,
tho?
OBBNW: The concept is rife with ideas for BNW. Captured Defiance members
sent after an escaped rouge alpha, or against the Russians (I love having
the Red Menace to kick around again, having grown up in Regan's America and
being worried about the bomb.) Being sent to capture old Defiance friends.
