RE: [BNW] Suicide Squad (was Bomber, cool or stupid?)

Well, this is DC - Alan Moore or Grant Morrison or someone could have very
well brought him back somehow. But in the issue in question, he was pretty
conclusively blown apart by Armorgeddon Pi...ummm, I mean, Rocket Red
Brigade guys.

Sure you don't want a copy of my Belle Reeve Sourcebook? :) Nope, the
mission where Slipknot lost his hand was against the Manhunters in the
Louisiana swamps (there was a bomb detonated there, but it was Flagg's old
girlfriend who died doing so that time). Plastique, as best I recollect,
was only on the team's first mission against the Jyhad (another cool group
that, depowered, would be suitable for the BNW Universe - see below). She
betrayed them, but was captured, taken out, and was later brainwashed into
forgetting the Squad's existence.

Flagg later went on a solo mission against the Jyhad with a nuclear bomb or
somesuch, and blew up their base in Qurac. That's when he died.

Well, it gives a Guide something to do if his player characters _do_ get
captured by Delta Primer due to unavoidable bad luck, stupidity or whatever.
I suspect such an offer wouldn't be made to hardcore Defiant types, but if
your player-character group is more of a freelance type, it could be an
option.

Actually, I think they've established Blackgate as such a place for
non-insane types. Belle Reeve was reserved for types who had superpowers
that required special containment facilities (or villains that the Squad
needed for a mission who they had the government transfer to).

Which again suggests something that might be a good idea for the BNW
universe (and to keep us on topic here). All the prisons seems to use the
power-dampening thing. But certainly, not every Gunner, Hacker, Charmer,
Sneak, Bouncer, and Genius that gets captured requires that kind of security
to be kept imprisoned. How about a BNW prison where such types are kept
that isn't as "high-powered" as New Alcatraz and stuff?
