So why would the blaster worry about the blast punch trick? It's harder to
do, and doesn't do much better damage. Hell if that's the case all the HtH
types should just pack up and go home as the blaster and hotshot can rip
them up in HtH.

I also don't know if it's true that shooting is easier. I'm reminded of
some movie with Val Kilmer and Kim Bassinger (can't remember the name).
Anyway, in the movie Kilmer tries to rob a store and gets a big ass gun
pointed at his head from about a foot away. So what does he do? He puts
his hand up, and then smacks the gun aside and runs.

After seeing this movie (which wasn't that great) I asked my friend about
it. So we did a little test, one of us held a squirt gun on the other and
the other guy would try and knock it aside.
I think 8 times out of 10 we never got wet. And that's with us expecting
the other guy to try something, and with the guy being covered.

I think at least you would add the opponents fighitng skill to your TN
(like someone else said, it's hard to aim a gone when you're being punched
in the face). But it also seems like there should be something to balance
out the HtH type's abilities close up with the ranged type's.
