[BNW] Omegas

I was just thinking about BNW and teh way deltas are created.

An ordinary person has a near death experience, he has a small chance of
becomming a delta
A delta has a near death experience, he has a small chance of becomming
an Alpha

What happens if an Alpha has a near death experience?  Does he have a
change of becoming even more powerful?  I doubt this has happened yet,
as Alphas are rare to start with and most are probably powerful enough
not to be placed into too many situations where they almost die.
