That occurred to me, but barring some clarification or expanded rules in a
future "Gadgeteer Sourcebook," I'm not sure I'd like to see a power/battery
kind of thing. When it comes to Delta Powers (and Gadgeteer is a Delta
Power, even if the items built with it are not per se), there is no
"Endurance Cost" or "Battery" or whatever. And the only existing Gadget
(Power Armors) sets no real limit on the use of at least some of its stuff
(normal ammo rules for the Gun, but no limit on the Flight or Strength).
A Teleporter can teleport as much as he likes, a Blaster can throw off
hundreds of blasts per hour...this keeps the system elegantly simple and
non-Champions like. I wouldn't want to see that trend reverse itself for
Gadgets, other than the few logical times when it should and already does
occur (i.e., Ammo).
