That doesn't account for why she is wanted by Delta Prime, though. They're
hunting her so strenuously because she consistently makes them look good
_and_ the Defiance looks bad...?
*shrug* As I noted before, I have no problem with the idea of a biased
narrator per se. But when you can't rely on _anything_ the narrator says,
from the point of view of a Guide or Player trying to get a feel for the
"world" they are running or playing in, such a narrator (and the game
material she narrates) becomes useless.
Also, when such a biased narrator is typically used in the Player Section,
the specific instances where they are incorrect or misinformed or usually
presented in the GM-only section (see various Hell on Earth books like
Cyborgs for good examples here). To date, we've been presented with only
one example of how Truth is inaccurate: underplaying the Defiance
resistance.
>weak too. Do you catch my drift. They two sides have different reasons and

Well, as noted in the source material, there are more than two "sides" - and
Truth to some degree has her own side. The question here is, given that she
is wanted by Delta Prime, what benefit does she gain by exaggerating DP's
successful efforts? I was under the impression her own goal was to be a
_believable_ source of info so that Delta Prime would...well, believe her
when she says the Defiance is weak. If she consistently demonstrates
herself as a liar and a spreader of misinformation to DP (even if she is
lying for their benefit in this particular instance), why should they
believe anything else she says? Her position seems to be based on being as
verifiably accurate to DP as possible.
*shrug* Like I said, I can (kinda) buy the whole "Armogeddon suits protected
the powered Deltas within in" thing (and assuming this is further clarified
in the upcoming Primers book). But this whole "consider the source" thing
that Matt noted does not, in this case, make much sense.
>skills for all this. And as a great newspaper man once said... "You send me
>the pictures and I'll come up with the war"(paraphrased of course).
