My (hopefully soon to be Guide) best friend and I were discussing this...
How mandatory do you think these disadvantages are? Does a Goliath really
have to dirt slow? I think I added up the points and these were just
normal disadvantages taken to add points, not additional ones that gave
him nothing, so couldn't they be traded for other disadvantages? I don't
think our group would have a problem with that, provided that the changes
were made to fit the char. and not to negate obvious disadvantages. Of
course if the concept was incredibly different I might to try to steer the
player towards a scrapper or tough instead (scrapper kinda seems like a
more subtle goliath to me).
