One thing to keep in mind in general is that guns make _noise_. Granted, if
you're already in a fight with Delta Prime, that probably doesn't matter.
But otherwise one thing to note is that firing weapons that make large booms
could attract unwarranted attention. Even with the rather liberal
gun-carrying laws, I'm sure the police don't _ignore_ gunfights.
A Screamer can't do much about their power, but even a Blaster's firepower
might be relatively quiet. In the BNW comic included, Patriot II's blast
only makes a Ka-Zwap!, but it's not in particularly large lettering...
