[BNW] Ravaged Planet, a few comments.

Loved the book, wished there was more detail though. A few things i wished the
book had had:

1) a timeline.

2) a list of group/character names from the key eras and places-- pre-delta,
WWI, WWI (golden age), Cold War, modern era along with some names. stats of a
few key members would be nice. when developing character backgrounds, it's
nice to say that x knew y from the golden age, or x fought along side y in
Vietnam, etc.

3) A map of Crescent City especially, nothing fancy. what does the city look
like?

4)  a world map, again basic, but as the BNW is not our world, many of the
countries would have different names, especially in Asia and Africa. it would
strengthen the sense of difference for the players if they had a map they
could see.

These are not complaints, i am more than capable of making them on my own,
it's just they would have made a good book even better.

i loved Patriot's story, the video from the official homepage is really great
and dovetails perfectly into the printed story in RP. i won't say anything
else, lest i spoil something for some readers (go to the official Deadlands
homepage and see the MPEG for yourself of the "live" footage of Patriot's
execution --it's filled with story hooks, such as who was the guard?...).
