Actually, this *trick* ("Blessed") does seem to read the way you
indicate.  You use the trick to gain a delta point, use up all of your
delta points, use the trick again, gain a delta point, use it, trick,
gain, use, trick, gain, use...

Granted, it is for *2 extra successes* on a faith roll...
