Re: [WW] Monsters,Creatures and Weird Science

With the Poster,it shows a Werewolf in a Waffen-SS uniform.Im not sure what
cuffband hes wearing, but I would think that most SS units have some special
units integral to them.Im not saying that the entire Division be made up of
Werewolves,or some other nasty critters, just that because were looking at it
from a horror perspective, that the Waffen-SS units on the German side
definately deserve them.I would also suggest the German Special Forces units
to have weirdness attached.

>>I like the posts about this and the occult side so far, I think that a

>>n-word secret breeding program, or some sick science experiment, ormaybe
>>even an obscure SS ritual. It would certainly be a great adventure to
>>run... hmmm, file that one for later...<<

Himmler was known for his belief in the Occult,as was Hitler. It being a SS
ritual would make some sense. In one of the German Castles the SS owned,Magic
was practiced quite often.

However,I would disagree on Werewolfs being created by a ritual.I was
thinking more along the lines that Werewolves, are a natural species, perhaps
only common to Germany(Id prefer if they were in all countries,Germany just
having a higher ratio).

I believe the SS High Command(General SS,Not Waffen-SS)should have a cabal
of Sorcerers,as specialists working directly for them. They should probably
be quite powerful, however with some significant drawbacks.Sortof Cthuluhu
style, that the power they weild, also slowly destroys them(Drives them
mad, warps their bodies,etc.,etc.).This cabal should use only ritual type
magic, stuff that takes hours to cast,it should be powerful, but not cost
effective in the long run.(Yes,Herr General we could raise the divisions
dead in 4 to 5 hrs.4 hrs. later the Divisions dead are animate, but 2 or 3 of
the Sorcerers casting the spell are out for a few weeks,if not months.

Also, this is just my suggestion, but some of the concentration camp
commanders(not general soldiers,just commanders),as well as some
Einsatzgruppen members be Vampires. It seems to make a rather twisted sense
that,Vampires control two of the most evil organizations in Germany.Im not
totally familiar with Deadlands take on Vampires, but most games
vampires, would make perfect antagonists in these situations.

Rank and file German units should be composed completely of normal humans.Im
not talkig about every unit being made up completely by monsters.Thas over
and above what I would wish to see,I just think that some fiendish beasties
in certain key areas would add that total sense of danger to the game.
