Just to follow up regarding Hawkeye, we have contacted
the shelter and told the shelter that we will take him into rescue if they do
not have a suitable family. The shelter has someone interested who is
going to talk to us so that we can help screen the applicant. The
shelter is willing to post a requirement that Hawkeye be placed with a family
that has a secure fenced yard. Also the shelter requires that all
adopted pets be spayed or neutered. So we will work with the shelter to
help find him a home. If the shelter cannot place him, our rescue will
take custody and place him with a foster family until we find his forever
home.
Thanks for taking an intest and helping to make a
difference in Hawkeye's life!
