This is sort of an aside to the question about distinguishing a Pyr. Just recently I was introduced to the notion of an Akbash. Talk about looking like a Pyr! I am not certain the Akbash claim to have the double dew claws on the hind legs, though. The Akbash is sort of like a Turkish version of our beloved Pyrs.
