   I personally think Canidae is a much better food than Nutro. Canidae is known to be especially good for large breeds. The only thing you have to watch is portions because some dogs (especially Pyrs with sloooow metabolisms) can gain too much weight on it. The best thing to do is turn the bags over and compare the foods you are interested in. Anything containing corn should be ruled out right away, and of course anything with by-products. Most good foods such as Canidae will list a meat or meal first, such as chicken or chicken meal. The more real meat, the better. The fewer grains, the better. Good luck and hope this helps!
