Well, hope springs eternal.
As for the barking.  Zack goes out and barks, and barks, and barks... He is
in love with the sound of his voice. Then Maude and Casey provide the
chorus.

Right now Maude is sitting by dh and softly whining.  She wants to go out in
the sleet and rain and snow we are having tonight.  In a few minutes she
will go over and beat on the door.  Then when she gives that up she will go
pick on Casey who is sleeping,  and they will go after Zack who is snoring
and I will throw all three out and Maude will be happy for at least 15
seconds until she decides to come in and then she will bark at the door to
come in.

Barking is a Pyr thing, most of the time it doesn't drive me to crazy,
however, when they keep it up for a long time --15-20 minutes I am ready to
shoot them all.  Good thing I am a bad shot and don't keep fire arms in my
house.

Well, I guess my yard will keep on looking like mortar range and my
neighbors will keep buying ear plugs.
