Just heard that Sarah Stombaugh passed away yesterday.  Sarah and her husband Paul were very long time members of the Great Pyrenees Club of America and they spent many years of their life devoted to Great Pyrenees.  Paul and Sarah had been mainstays of the Greenville Kennel Club since Paul retired from the FBI in Washington, DC and they moved back to Greenville, South Carolina.  They had both served as President and many other functions in that Kennel Club.  I am sure they were probably founding members of the National Capital Great Pyrenees Club and served that club in many ways.  

Sarah was a delightful person who had a very deep love for the breed.  She also did some excellent poetry on the breed that is a treasure to us who have any of it.  Neither she nor Paul had been very active for years due to failing health, primarily his.  Robin if you are reading this, please contact me privately.  We will all miss Sarah's passing and pray for Paul now in her absence.
