I am soooo  glad that the rescue folks know about
that poor, sweet Pyr with the skin condition. You know, when Newman was
maybe three months old, he started getting big, weepy sores all over his
body, and I believe they were the result of all the fleas he had when we
got him. It took me forever to get rid of them, but I used some
Hydrocortisone cream on them and they eventually cleared up. After we
found out he had mange from his mother, I thought they might've been
related to that, but the vet said that if they had been, the
Hydrocortisone would've made them worse, not better. Hopefully, this
Pyr's sores can be cleared up and the rescue folk can find her a good
home. I'm WAY too far away here in Texas to help her.
