[pyrnet] Pyr weights

Well I did not get a whole lot of feedback from folks on the age:weight
question I had last week, but as I promised here is the results of the
analysis.

Males: weight = (11.788 * age in months) - 1.8137
        R2 = 0.8906

Females: weight = (2.1603 * age in months) + 29.788
        R2 = 0.6507

The R2 (squared) value tells us the for males, nearly 90% of the variation in
weight seen in our data set is explained by age of the dog. In other words it
is a pretty good relationship (age:weight). However, in both cases the
sample size was small.

For males, do not try to apply this to dogs older than about 10
months...maybe a year. Certainly, once Pyr's get beyond 10-12 months of age
they no longer grow at the same rate.

For females the relationship is a bit worse. Primarily due to the very small
sample size.

If you have some Pyr age weight info you would like to send me please do so
and I will update. I appreciate all your help.

In addition, as Barb acknowledged, some of the variation is weight is due to
breed lineage and not always a health issue. I like to give our Romy a good
feel to make sure he is not getting too heavy or too lean.

By the way, Romy is right about the size of an average Pyr at his age while
Newman seems like he is truly a big boy!
