Thanks, Rhonda.
My Nary would appreciate your kindness. She did not have to do battle with the
coyotes last night, and so is more energetic and much less tired, even though she
stayed awake all night, as she does every night. I would like to give her piano
lessons, but her 'fingers' are a bit large. Maybe she could learn to play
drums.

Oh, Lordy! I haven't laughed so hard in a looong time! Hermit,
your Mary sounds great.
And Barb, a muddy pup may be a happy pup, but
a muddy pup sure don't make me a happy MAMA! I'll definitely try the kennel
trick, though. With winter coming up, I shudder at having to subject him to be
sprayed off with the hose in cold weather...but I sure don't relish the rainy
season!
Tammie, Molly sounds very determined! Perhaps
she's trying to tell you that she REALLY wants to explore subterranean vistas.
Maybe you should take her for a trip to someplace that has subways....? And
Michele, I thought =I= was going to laugh until I was sick visualizing that
Newf, the bbq grill and the poor lady!
Reminds me of the day my sister
let our cousin ride her horse and the idiot horse ran away with her and JUMPED
a Toyota! I'll bet that lady's face mirrored our cousin's.
Luka
sounds like the typical kid when it comes to toys...like most of the Pyrs on
here. Think about a kid on Christmas. They always like the box better than the
toy it contained!
Also, Barb, Tessa's behavior sounds like what Newman
has started doing. I quit chasing him when he "steals " things, and instead
when I see the big white streak heading outside, like you, I call him
cheerfully and say, "Newman! What HAVE you got there? Have you been a bad boy
again? Bring it here." He immediately starts slinking over toward me, then
drops it in my hand, and I tell him what a good boy he is and pet him
thoroughly. He still makes my husband and son chase him.
LOL!
