RE: [pyrnet] more sheep loss this week

What about putting a radio, tuned to an all talk station out there, this may
detour the coyotes if they think someone is in the herd.
We put a radio on in the pheasant barn, when we mysteriously lost two
pheasants, since then we have not lost one in a year. I don't know if it is
do to the radio, or just luck, but its worth a try.

These coyotes are relentless! lost 2 ewes yesterday and another is dead
this
morning. All close to the house in the pasture which is fenced and a stones
throw from the front porch. The Pyr pups are too small to be of any use at
9
weeks old but surely there is something we can do to stop this lamb buffet.
I have been bringing the puppies out into the sheep everyday and am glad I
haven't left them alone out there at night as they surely would have been an
appetizer for these predators. At what point will it be safe to have the
pups out there? We have set up a spotlight and will stalk the rogues
tonight
shotguns in hand but I'm hoping any of you may have a sugestion for us.
