Sorry, Jan. Shows you the
ignorance of the average American about New Zealand
and Australia. Although this country
realizes that there is a strong bond between us and New Zealanders and Aussies
we have a Third World school system, an asylum run by the inmates.
I know that NZ has some of the
best and most fertile land in the world, that it also has about every geographic
figure from mountains and ocean to valleys, lakes and streams. You're my kind of
folks!
I wouldn't mind having the
kiwi.Do I need a pair. And we are talking about the bird and not the
fruit, right?
When you have finished
packing, please let me know, so I can start brushing up the place here in honor
for your arrival. I plan to put some of my marigolds in your room, and
hope you like them. Of all the flowers, they are my dead-on
favorite. Looks like a marigold farm around the cabin.
Though we are inching into fall, most
plants are still vibrant. When I start gathering seeds to save, it is a
weeks long project.
I have found several varieties that are not
easily recognized. The county agricultural agent sent some to the state
university and they only had vague idea what they were.
Well, didn't mean to overload your
computer. I don't know the time difference
between Kentucky and NZ, but it is
9:20 a.m. here. I suppose it is late at night there and you may already
have gone to bed. (Tell Mick to move over!)
Sunshine
always,
Hermit in the Woods,
calculating time.
