We got Gus (His name is Gus by the way) from Penn Dutch Rescue.
And no info was given about the tattoo.

ALWAYS be careful giving unlimited access to water after heavy
exercise. Drinking excessive amounts or eating after haevy
exercise can sometimes cause bloat. Interesting that the dog was
tattooed. Did the Rescue group ever try to find out about the
tattoo?
