Yes Joe, debate may be good, but that last response
was in reference to the personal attacks in the post. I've seen this sort of
thing firsthand in my own club. When people disagree on Rescue they attack on
personal issues. I've a real problem with this. No matter who is doing the
attacking. It is so very easy via email to take something the wrong way, I
admit. But when you are face to face, there is no mistaking the malice and mean
spiritedness. I've seen people driven out of Rescue because of personal attacks.
Yes, there is always the delete button. But personal attacks do not belong on
this public list no matter who they are from. I do not want Richard to get so
annoyed with all of this that he shuts down the list. This has almost happened
in the past. This list is a wonderful resource for those that need help, and for
the most part, it is a pleasant and helpful and supportive list.
