This subject has come up before, on another board--- i have always believed
that this is a "dominance move"---
reason---on the nature shows that I have watched concerning wolves---the
"lead wolf(pack leader) never allows Himself to be groomed--He does the
grooming, and , if any other wolf tries to groom Him, well, lets just say
that He will retaliate!
This is also the reason that I feel that it is so very important that we
establish a grooming procedure with our dogs , as this tells them that they
WILL allow us free access to any part of their body that We want to touch !
Any thoughts on this ?
