When you have large animals, or just a lot of animals, you have to have a
plan.  Back in 1979, my parents were living about 50 miles south of Three
Mile Island.  When the nuclear power plant was in danger of melt down, they
had a plan worked out where they could take their two dogs (a German
shepherd and a Saint), their handfull of chickens, cat, and my Grandmother
to safer ground if they had to evacuate.  (BTW -- it was nice that they
could take Grandma.)
