don't think I could go off and leave my girls, but there were not many

case.

Hi !
I live in North Central Florida---
We get hurricanes here--with luck, these "ladies" have been tracked from the
time that they're born, just in case they decide that they want to "pay us a
visit", so, we  have plenty of time to get out of their way--
Since I live in the central part of the State, and not on the coast, the
"ladies" would have to be really "tough" to do anything more to us than a
little wind---
But, last year, hurricane Floyd decided to "pay us a visit"----There are not
that many motels, hotels ect.. that will take Pyrs.--(we were headed for
Atlanta, Ga.(we were gonna' get the @**(@!!!!!! out of Dodge !!) We ended up
calling and getting rooms for our dogs at a boarding kennel here with
concrete walls, in the middle of a field( so, no fear of falling trees),then,
Hubby and I headed for Atlanta---
That is a situation that is intimidating--what if that Kennel had not been
there? <sigh>
Well, I guess Hubby, Myself, and 3 Pyrs. would have gone to Atlanta together
and camped out side of the Highway !!!
