No website or newspaper article that I know of, sorry. Basically,
and in a nut shell, the kennel owner starved her kennel to death.
Charges were brought before the GPCA against the kennel owner on
the 2 dogs that remained alive as these were the only 2 that
could be used as evidence for the charges. The other dozen or so
were already dead. If I remember correctly, one of the dogs
remaining, a 2 -2 1/2 year old bitch weighed 41 lbs. The Sheriff,
when charges were brought against the kennel owner (or at least
they tried to file charges) would do nothing. The 2 dogs
remaining alive are now in loving homes and doing well. I can
only imagine the horror that confronted those fine, brave ladies
who went out to the kennel and looked for and discovered the mass
grave. IMO, the kennel owner deserves a fate worse than what her
dogs got, but that is out of my hands. I do, most certainly
believe, that she will get what she deserves one day. If not in
this lifetime, then in the next.
