Carol, great point!  As I have often joked, the Pyrs. can see a Cardinal
at two miles ( and let me know? ), but this might explain some of the
stupid barking ( at least to 
me ) in that range closer up!  When I think about it, that is exactly the
way they act too!  Cindy
