Can you believe this?  Of course, idiots don't go away during the
holidays.  As you know, the more calls, the more letters, the more they
"might" listen!  Heads up on this one folks, this was on a RADIO station
!!

I dont normally call on things like this but i did today!  I got the
station 
manager as well as the voice mail of the reporter and let em both have
it!!!

CALL THEM!!


This morning on the morning show on Fox 8 news in Cleveland, Ohio a 
newscaster, Kenny Crompton, did a segment from PETLAND pet shop.  The 
comments were what a wonderful gift Puppies make for Christmas.  They
showed 
many purebred puppies including one of the WORST saint bernard puppies I
have 
ever seen.  The manager of the pet shop was unable to pronounce the
breeds of 
many of the puppies that were shown.  But they kept pluggin Petland and 
telling people to buy puppies for christmas for their loved ones.  

For those of you who don't remember PETLAND was mentioned on the dateline

series about puppymills.  I am familier with the two petland stores in
the 
Cleveland area and the puppies they carry are some of the worst I have
ever 
seen.  Not to mention that their personnel has no clue how to care for
them 
or anything about them.

Please crosspost this as widely as you can.  I would hope to get some
kind of 
retraction or mention.  But at least they may never do it again if enough

Tommorrow starts the Crown Classic dog show here in Cleveland which is
one of 
the largest shows in the U.S.  It is a 4 day show.  I can't believe on
the 
eve of this show, all they could come up with for a news story was to go
to a 
petshop and advocate buying puppymill puppies for Chirstmas presents.  I 
really think someone needs to tell them about this, strongly!
